Since 1 November 2024, the gross minimum wage (SMIC) in France has risen by 2%<\/strong>, from \u20ac11.65 to \u20ac11.88 an hour. This new hourly rate corresponds to a gross monthly salary of \u20ac1,801.80 and a net monthly salary of \u20ac1,426.30 for a 35-hour working week.<\/p>\n\n

It should be noted that, although this increase in the national minimum wage (SMIC) was anticipated for early November, no further automatic revaluation is planned for 1 January 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

As a reminder, if you are a foreign company seconding one or more of your employees to France<\/a>, you are obliged to respect the working conditions and comply with the new French regulations in force<\/strong>, in particular those concerning the 2% increase in the national minimum wage (SMIC).<\/p>\n\n
