{"id":97924,"date":"2021-01-08T11:38:48","date_gmt":"2021-01-08T10:38:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asd-int.com\/mini_blog\/brexit-bulgaria-clarification-on-the-obligation-to-appoint-a-fiscal-representative-for-uk-companies\/"},"modified":"2021-01-08T14:34:11","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T13:34:11","slug":"brexit-bulgaria-clarification-on-the-obligation-to-appoint-a-fiscal-representative-for-uk-companies","status":"publish","type":"mini_blog","link":"https:\/\/www.asd-int.com\/en\/brexit-bulgaria-clarification-on-the-obligation-to-appoint-a-fiscal-representative-for-uk-companies\/","title":{"rendered":"Brexit &#8211; Bulgaria &#8211; Clarification on the obligation to appoint a fiscal representative for UK companies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Due to the Brexit and the end of the transition period since 1 January 2021 :  companies established in Great Britain\u00a0which are registered for VAT in Bulgaria solely because they exceeded the distance selling threshold are obliged to appoint a fiscal\u00a0representative in Bulgaria before 15 January 2021.\u00a0If no fiscal\u00a0representative has been appointed by that date, their Bulgarian VAT number may be cancelled automatically by the Bulgarian tax authorities.<\/p>\n\n<p>Businesses established in Great Britain which are registered for VAT in Bulgaria for transactions other than distance selling must also appoint a fiscal representative in Bulgaria before 31 March 2021.
