{"id":9332,"date":"2018-04-11T09:59:58","date_gmt":"2018-04-11T07:59:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.asd-int.com\/?p=9332"},"modified":"2020-06-03T14:18:22","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T12:18:22","slug":"asd-group-participates-to-the-information-campaign-on-the-economic-agreement-between-the-eu-and-cana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.asd-int.com\/en\/asd-group-participates-to-the-information-campaign-on-the-economic-agreement-between-the-eu-and-cana\/","title":{"rendered":"ASD Group participates to the information campaign on the economic agreement between the EU and Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In order to inform companies about the application of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA \/ CETA), <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.fccq.ca\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www1.fccq.ca\">the Quebec Federation of Chambers of Commerce<\/a> (FCCQ) offers a program of training and conferences, in the form of a &#8220;tour&#8221;, in the main regions of Quebec.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nDuring March, ASD Group&#8217;s European VAT expert in Canada, Arnaud Philibert, participated at several conferences in Montreal, Quebec City and Trois-Rivi\u00e8res alongside Canadian ambassadors, delegates from Quebec and the Canadian Minister of International Trade, Mr Champagne .<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT IS CETA \/ CETA?<\/h2>\n<p>The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement is a free trade agreement between the European Union and Canada. It has been provisionally applied since 21 September 2017, awaiting its full entry into force, which will be voted on by all the parliaments of the EU Member States, which could take a few years.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this agreement is to define a common regulatory framework and to facilitate trade between the EU and Canada, notably through the elimination of customs duties, which will become a considerable advantage for European companies wishing to develop their trade on the other side of the Atlantic.<\/p>\n<p>Due to this agreement, it is estimated that trade will increase by more than 20% by 2022.<\/p>\n<h2>QUEBEC EXPORTERS&#8217; QUESTIONS CONCERNING THIS FREE TRADE AGREEMENT<\/h2>\n<p>The development of Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s regions is mainly based on Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s international trade and the dynamism of Qu\u00e9bec&#8217;s exports.
