Due to the Covid-19 crisis, Belgium had decided to introduce a reduced VAT rate on the supply of masks and hydroalcoholic gels.
On 27 June 2022, the Belgian government announced a further extension of the reduced VAT rate of 6% on these products until 31 December 2022.
