Belgium to reduce VAT rate for mouth masks and hydro-alcoholic gels to 6%

In order to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic, Belgium has reduced the VAT rate applicable to mouth masks and hydro-alcoholic gels from 21% to 6%. As a result, mouth masks and hydro-alcoholic gels can now be imported and sold in Belgium at a VAT rate of 6%. This reduced rate is applicable from 4 May 2020 to 31 December 2020.
