Originally scheduled for 1 July 2022, the introduction of the entry summary declaration (ENS) via the Safety and Security GB Service (S&S GB) for goods imported into the UK from the EU has been postponed until the end of 2023.
This declaration is necessary to obtain a GMR (Goods Vehicle Reference) and is mandatory for crossing the British border. Without it, the truck will not be able to enter the territory.
