Due to the global health crisis, the Czech government had decided to implement an exemption from VAT and customs duties for importation of medical equipement into the Czech territory. This exemption was initially intended to apply until 30 April 2021.
It is now extended until 31 Decemebr 2021 based on EU Commission Decision 2021/660 dated from 19 April 2021.
