Many companies use Amazon’s services in their e-commerce activities throughout the world, and particularly in Europe. In this context, Amazon has been offering its professional sellers the “Shipped by Amazon-Pan-Europe” service for several years.
As a reminder, by opting for this service, the seller makes his stock available to an Amazon warehouse in his country, and Amazon then distributes the stock among its warehouses in the other Member States (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic), as close as possible to the customers.
However, as mentioned in a previous article, the “Shipped by Amazon-Pan-Europe” service, even though it does not present any tax risk, requires the seller to be registered for VAT in all the Member States in which its storage facilities are located.
As part of this, Amazon recently announced the extension of the Pan-European FBA programme to include two additional shop options: the Netherlands and Sweden.
