The British government has announced the postponement of measures regarding the import/export of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) products.

Due to the sanitary crisis, the supply chains have been seriously impacted. In particular, the agri-food sector.

That’s why the United Kingdom established a new schedule to give them more time to adapt.

Initially planned for October 1st, 2021, the following obligations will come into force on July 1st, 2022:

Pre-notification of sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) products
New requirements for export sanitary certificates.
Phytosanitary certificates and physical checks od SPS goods at border inspection posts.
Safety and security declaration on imports.
