Croatia – Slovenia: Change in Intrastat thresholds in 2024

With effect from 01 January 2024, the various Slovenian and Croatian tax authorities have introduced changes to the Intrastat thresholds.

The obligation to make an Intrastat declaration for the period 2024 is determined for each taxable business identified as liable for VAT when the thresholds indicated are exceeded.

Thus, the new Intrastat thresholds from January 2024 in Croatia :

  • The threshold for listing is raised from €400,000 to €450,000
  • Shipping threshold raised from €200,000 to €300,000

The new Intrastat 2024 thresholds in Slovenia :

  • Threshold for listing increased from €200,000 to €220,000
  • The dispatch threshold remains unchanged
