With a view to lightening the workload for tax and customs authorities, the Czech government approved an increase in Intrastat thresholds on 13 December 2023.
As a result, from January 2024, the following thresholds will come into force:
- Intra-Community dispatches to rise from CZK 12,000,000 to CZK 15,000,000
- Intra-Community arrivals to rise from CZK 12,000,000 to CZK 15,000,000
Economic operators carrying out intra-Community transactions will be responsible for ensuring that the thresholds set for fulfilling tax and customs obligations are met.
The obligation to file intrastat data will be required when the threshold is exceeded in 2024.
