Italy – Extension of VAT and customs duties exemption for importation of medical equipment

In April 3rd, 2020 and due to the Covid-19 crisis, Italy had decided an exemption from VAT and customs duties for importation of medical equipment into the Italian territory.

This exemption was initially intended to apply until 30 April 2021. It is extended until 31 December 2021.
