Reading time: < 1 minute

With a view to reducing the administrative burden on companies in respect of their intra-Community transactions, the National Institute of Statistics (“Instituto Nacional de Estatística”) has decided to increase the Intrastat thresholds for 2024.

As a result, from January 2024, the following thresholds will come into force:

  • The dispatch threshold will rise from €400,000 to €600,000;
  • The threshold for acquisitions will be raised from €400,000 to €600,000.

The obligation to file data will be required when the threshold is exceeded in 2024.
