The European Commission has decided to modify the format of the Single Administrative Document (SAD) to adapt to the digitalisation of customs declarations.
Thus, as of 1 January 2023, the SAD will be replaced by a new, fully digitalised H1 document.
For the time being, the administration has not provided any further information on the type of document that will replace the SAD.
