Slovenia has announced, via the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, an increase in the Intrastat declaration thresholds applicable from 1 January 2026.
This change concerns companies carrying out intra-European Union trade in goods and directly impacts Intrastat declaration obligations.
New Intrastat thresholds in Slovenia in 2026
From the 2026 financial year, the thresholds are set as follows:
- Arrivals: 300,000 EUR (up from 240,000 EUR in 2025)
- Dispatches: 280,000 EUR (up from 270,000 EUR in 2025)
Intrastat declaration obligations
Companies must file monthly Intrastat declarations as soon as the total value of their intra-EU trade exceeds the applicable thresholds over a 12-month period.
This update to the thresholds may bring new companies into the scope of declaration obligations or change the declaration status of operators already active.
Key points to remember
The revision of Intrastat thresholds in Slovenia for 2026 is a key element to anticipate for companies involved in intra-European trade, in order to ensure their compliance with statistical obligations.
