The European Parliament is introducing new measures specific to the posting of road drivers from 2 February 2022. These specificities concern in particular the following measures:
- The remuneration of posted drivers shall be fixed in accordance with the remuneration rules of the host Member State;
- Abolition of the appointment of a representative in the host country;
- Abolition of the declaration of posting via the national systems in the host country where the posting takes place;
- Creation of a new European portal;
- The operator (employer) of the posted driver must submit a declaration of posting for a period of 6 months;
- The seconded driver must have all the documents necessary for the realization of his mission;
- In the event of an inspection, the operator must transmit the compulsory documents relating to the driver’s work and his mission.
